SUMMARY:
Provide customer and sales support to business divisions by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Acts as the primary contact for customers regarding confirmation of firm orders and forecast requirements, track shipment to fulfill releases, support sales personnel in applying for credit limits, process orders to the supplier, contract entry and invoice pro, troubleshoot any problems with the account, and monitor the account status of each customer.
• Oversees, manages, and reconciles inventory levels at processor and warehouses, utilizing data from contracts, purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents, invoices, accounting reports and generated log.
• Support and assist other sales personnel by providing market information, assisting with price build-ups, and identifying potential suppliers and customers.
• Input SO/DO/Sales Posting/Print Invoice, MRP/FSS system set up and maintenance, Month End Purchase / Sale / Contract Bal / Inventory Check, Part Master Registration, Price Master Registration.
• Monitors customer credit limits and reviews letters of credit documents to determine compliance with international standards. Prepares and issues documentation in accordance with L/C requirements or contract terms.
• Coordinates warehousing and transportation with the Logistics team. May negotiate rates with freight forwarding companies and tracks deliveries and shipments to ensure timely arrival of goods in compliance with import/export regulations. Prepares shipping documents for customs clearance. Coordinates settlements complaints with insurance department.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of steel market and industry. Excellent communication skills as well as organizational skills. Supervisory experience as well as the ability to work well with others, providing training and assistance to junior sales staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, accounting, inventory and purchase order software.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years relevant experience preferred.
