Position: Sales Manager - Detroit (Posting #130)

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our Detroit office. Responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact with key OEM and tiered customers, building close relationship with customers across all levels through regular visits. Execute strategies for assigned accounts to increase customer satisfaction on KPIs by delivering consistently high service levels. Maintain up-to-date sales forecast, communicating closely with customers to accurately depict short and long-term demand. Partner with Supply Chain Manager to insure seamless flow of information and resolve delivery and quality concerns in a timely manner. Generate quotations for new business and negotiate existing contract adjustments, swiftly updating terms and conditions in support of customer service. Provide frequent and complete reports to management on account status, highlighting volume, margin, aged inventory concerns, etc.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 5 years relevant customer facing experience. Technical/Sales background with automotive OEM customers and tiered suppliers required. Experience with aluminum flat roll a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, good analytical skills, detail orientation and computer literacy are a must. Travel up to 60%.
