Our parent company, Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc. MISI, was the victim of an email fraud attempt recently. As a result, we wanted to inform all visitors on our website of the incident in case unknown criminals contact their organizations supposedly on behalf of MISI or MISA. Please refer to the MISI Press Release below to understand the nature of the fraud attempt and actions to be taken in case someone contacts you pretending to represent MISI or MISA.
[Fraud Alert] Regarding fraudulent e-mails pretending to be from management people of Marubeni-Itochu Steel Inc.
Recently, we have received several inquiries from individuals and associations concerning suspicious e-mails which they have received under the names of our management. The contents of such e-mails are about an open position with the company and an inquiry to law firms in connection with possible representation of the company.
Please be advised that we do not contact individuals regarding job openings by sending an unsolicited e-mail. Further, the relevant Department within the company, and not top management, initiates any contact with a law firm in connection with legal representation.
In case you have received suspicious e-mail such as above, please treat it with caution and contact us concerning appropriate follow-up action.

(MISA) and Worthington Industries, Inc. announced today that the joint venture agreement combining ClarkWestern Building Systems and Dietrich Metal Framing has been finalized. The venture will be called ClarkDietrich Building Systems LLC. Also finalized, is Worthington Steel's acquisition of the three MISA Metals Inc. steel processing locations.
